Good food, awesome atmosphere, clean and friendly staff. Would go again. Only thing I would recommend to owners is to redo the menu so it has a cleaner look.

Pretty good job.

The Big Rich was extremely delicious and decent priced. Rich was an excellent host, ditto with Tommie as our waitress and Karla as our cook. The dining room has a peaceful setting, with great country music and mood lighting for a great dining experience. The staff was very attentive to my disabled son's needs and was very patient. The elevator was a big plus. From a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate Richie Z's a 7. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to friends and family.

Will definitely be back!!! The smoked wings were some of the best I've had... and I love me some wings!!! My 8 oz sirloin was larger than 8 oz. I asked for medium rare and it came out rare... but it tasted amazing!! I would order again for sure. The mac and cheese looks and tastes like boxed kraft mac and cheese. Was disappointed, bc its so easy to make a good mac and cheese...over all, pleased...

The wings I had were amazing but my wife's burger was way over cooked and seem to have a lot of cooked on other flavors from I'm guessing an overed used grill but they were busy and actually really want to go back on a slower night

Top notch bbq. Richie is a great pitmaster and if you're anywhere near Pierre, South Dakota you must stop in to the Brickhouse.

Restaurant interior theme is very fitting for the name and food. Very clean and appealing to the eyes. The menu items overall stand out against the competition. They have a nice selection of sandwiches. I’m excited to go back and try something different. Sara was our waitress and she was very professional and went above my expectations with her attentiveness and knowledge of the menu.

Very good bbq. Homemade sides are delicious. Friendly staff.

Best ribs west of the Mississippi

The food was ok. They need to try some of their own dishes and improve on the overall flavor of the dishes. Some of them were very plain and lacked much flavor. The atmosphere is really great. It's on the basement which is a drawback. It's nice to be able to look out the windows when you eat. The BBQ flare is right on key and they do a good job there. The staff is always friendly and food was prepared quickly. Overall it's a nice place, they just need to improve on the flavor of some of their dishes. The Pulled Pork Nachos needs some work in the flavor department.

Wasn't real impressed with the out of the bag and bottle coleslaw or salad. Ordered the prime rib special. It was smoked and just ok which explains the lack of a crowd on a busy Saturday night. The price was higher thsn other more traditional places and the beers were high priced. If Ireturn, i would try the regular menu items which are based on smoked pork.

Richie Z's is a great addition to Pierre! They have an extensive menu with something for everyone. The atmosphere is also really great. They really did well renovating the space. I would highly recommend!

Best BBQ I've had in South Dakota. They actually had alligator! It was cooked to perfection, as was everything. The flavor balances in their sauces are just amazing.

Service was slow but the food was excellent with good portions. It seems expensive for BBQ but worth the price.

This place is great if your looking for some inexpensive, fast, taste food. The staff was nice and the place was spotless when I attended. This place serves food mainly consisting of red meat, all the burgers, steak, and ribs one could think of.

We were in town scouting the area in anticipation of a potential relocation to Pierre. We happened upon this place and decided to go in. We’re sure glad we did. Damn good bbq. My son devoured the ribs and he typically doesn’t eat things like that. He devoured his ribs and helped his mother with hers. I had pulled pork and baked beans and the beans were top notch. Seriously, very good. The pulled pork is every bit as delicious as I had hoped. If we end up moving to Pierre, we’ll definitely be regulars here.

We are all from KC and we know our BBQ. Not only was the Beef Brisket DELICIOUS, but the sauce was INCREDABLE also! We were not able to meet the owner, as he was doing what he does, puttin' these delicious dishes in a BBQ contest! Maybe next time. We had a very AWESOME waitress, and maybe next time I can do a little magic for you!!!!

Clever adaptation of the old place. Many good vibes in the space. One of the best briskets I've had! Very reasonably priced with large portions including tasty complimentary sides. The BBQ is not overpowering and the meats are moist without being greasy. Thumbs up.👍👍👌 I think you'll like this place.

Delicious food, excellent service! I was pleasantly surprised to find authentic tasting, home cooked BBQ in a town this far away from the Mason-Dixon line. Heck they even had sweet tea. It wasn't quite as diabeetus sweet as the liquid sugar you find in the South but it was delicious all the same! And they also had beignets, (Louisiana donuts, basically) and frankly I was astounded that anyone in South Dakota even knew what a beignet WAS, let alone finding a place that actually served them!! My only regret was that I was too full from my delicious meal, i didn't have any room for beignets!! I'll just have to come back and try again another time😂

Just ate there for first time. Special was smoked meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy and corn with a bun. Holy smokes it was so good! Big portions and great service. 5 stars

Now open for breakfast. The croissants are amazing as well as breakfast pizza. Definitely top breakfast choice...
